Shortbytes was established by Rachel Lyons in 2020.  Our primary aim is to assist small businesses maximise the impact of their marketing activities, in a cost effective manner. By listening to you and how your business works, we set out to help you target the right audience, at the right time and in the right place to ensure your voice is heard.

Introducing Rachel

With over 25 years experience in Marketing and Communications, Rachel has a vast range of knowledge to draw on, to tangibly add value to your business.  Her experience is both with in-house marketing departments in Aviva and Friends First as well as with a number of marketing agencies. Previous clients include Smith & Nephew, Nivea Skincare, Siucra and Aer Lingus.

Rachel is experienced with a broad range of marketing tools, strategy and tactics. These include both traditional and more recent innovative digital marketing solutions. Known for her creative yet practical approach, she quickly get to grips with the challenges your business faces. Rachel then works with you to develop and implement a suitable marketing strategy.

Drawing on her 20 years experience in the Life & Pensions industry, Rachel specialises in helping Financial Brokers achieve their business goals with the support of a strong and tailored marketing plan. Rachel holds an MA in Sociology (Research) and Spanish from Trinity College, a BA in Marketing and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations. More recently she achieved a distinction in her Diploma in Digital Marketing and Certificate in Social Media Marketing, accredited by the AAI.

Rachel is also a Qualified Financial Adviser and a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
